As the upgraded version of China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (CICAF) forum, a branding event named as “C.A.K.E. TALK” will be released this year.
What is “C.A.K.E TALK”
Creative.

Exchange.
“C.A.K.E. TALK” is a series creative idea sharing forum, jointly hosted by CICAF Executive Committee and IEACI. The Excutive Director of IEACI, Mr. Bao Jie as the curator of “C.A.K.E. TALK” , set up the main theme as “The first sound 初啼”. As a feast for professionals to show and exchange their innovative ideas, “C.A.K.E. TALK” is the branding upgraded version for CICAF forum.
It will last from Apr.26-28 this year in White Horse Lake Jianguo Hotel, the main venue of CICAF. The contact will be related to cartoon, animation, comics, film, game and many other subjects in the excessive entertainment industry. During the event, there will be top designers, artists, educators, academics and professionals from China, America, England, France, Italy and many different areas gather together to share their experiences and understandings.
Suggested by Mr. Bao, “C.A.K.E. TALK”will be divided into three parts, which are “C.A.K.E. TALK”-Live, “C.A.K.E. TALK”-Master and “C.A.K.E. TALK”-Edu. Each part we will invite many specialists from cartoon & animation and excessive entertainment industry, including technology, culture, design, business etc., to share their creative ideas and innovation thoughts.
CICAF “C.A.K.E. TALK” is willing to build a cross-border exchange platform for professionals and younger groups in cartoon, animation, comics, film, game and excessive entertainment industry. Through the regularly held events every year, this platform will bring together a group of professionals who are willing to share thoughts, to create a friendly free communication environment by breaking the subject barrier, expanding the routine network, introducing self-achievements in the specific area, and to absorb nutrition from various disciplines and horizon the public vision at the mean time.
