C.A.K.E TALK – A New Ideas Sharing Platform released on 2017CICAF

The 13th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival just been successful held from Apr.26th to May1st. One of the most highlight parts is “C.A.K.E TALK” Forum, which was co-orgnized by IEACI.
“C.A.K.E TALK” Forum series is a featured brand newly launched in 2017, for which take the initialism of four words “Creative, Animation, Knowledge, Exchange” as “C.A.K.E.”. The 13th CICAF “C.A.K.E. TALK” was held for 3 days (April 26 – 28), at CICAF main venue White Horse Lake Jianguo Hotel as an exhibition of innovative ideas collisions among professionals with contents around animated films, series, games, cartoon, derivatives, TV & broadcast, academy, painting, design, dancing, CG, publication, and other new topics of pan-entertainment industry.
“C.A.K.E. TALK” is divided into four major sections: Live, Master, Edu and Panel, which hopes to build a cross-border communication platform for all the participants of pan-entertainment industries. Via annual regular activities, “C.A.K.E TALK” brought together professionals who are willing to share experience, to break discipline barriers, to introduce achievements, to open up public vision, and to create a real atmosphere of communication.

TALK” Master including the Producer of the Animated Feature Song of the Sea, Paul Young, Executive Producer of Winnie the Pooh- Disney’s Tales of Friendship, :Jon Rennie, Executive Producer of Luo Bao Bei, Alex Chien, Executive Producer of Disney China, Marc Handler, Founder & President of Little Airplane Productions, Josh Selig, Ancillary Business General Manager of Oriental DreamWorks, XU Pengchong, and Senior Vice President of Prime Focus World Animation London, Sean Feeney. Each guest speaker delivery a keynote speech to share their professional works to the audiences and most of the attendees are industry professionals.

For the “C.A.K.E. TALK” Live, Edu, and Panel, more than twenty guest speakers share their inspired ideas to the public audience. Also, there was a XTalents session named as XTalents International Animation Talents Cooperation and Match-Making. Attendees from Film, Animation, Game and Related Enterprises and International Art & Design Institutes were discussing the Pinch Project during this session.

Listen to the dialogues among masterminds and draw inspiration from the wits of the professionals. Over hundreds of experts, scholars, veteran professionals and animation fans participate in the Forum with different topics where sparks of thoughts bursting. China International Cartoon & Animation Industry Summit forums are annual grand gatherings for distinguished guests and masters in this field.
As the co-organizer of “C.A.K.E. TALK”, IEACI would like to cooperate with CICAF to build a cross-border exchange platform for professionals and younger groups in cartoon, animation, comics, film, game and excessive entertainment industry. Mr.Bao Jie, the curator of “C.A.K.E. TALK” said that: ” Through the regularly held events every year, this platform will bring together a group of professionals who are willing to share thoughts, to create a friendly free communication environment by breaking the subject barrier, expanding the routine network, introducing self-achievements in the specific area, and to absorb nutrition from various disciplines and horizon the public vision at the mean time.”
