IEACI representatives were invited to attend the 2016 Trends in Higher Education, hosted by China-Britain Business Council in Shanghai on Jun 20th.
The guest speakers also include representatives from Deloitte, the British Council and UK Visas & Immigration. They talked about the latest trends and policies in student mobility and helping Chinese students to study abroad.
Deloitte discussed the trends of the Chinese education industry, including developing UK-Sino university partnerships, joint investment opportunities and the employ ability of returning students.
British Council Exams gave the latest information on IELTS types and test delivery as well as official teacher and learner support.
UKVI described the latest updates on student visas including the Tier 4 student visa application process, Tier 4 recommended supporting documents and policy changes.
There was free networking after speakers’ sharing speech, the attendees from different companies and organizations do have good communications.
