AUB’s Short Courses offer expands in 2015, offering evening and weekend courses in 74 subjects covering everything from Silverclay Jewellery to Photography as a Profession.
Holly Emptage, third-year BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design student has taken Short Courses at AUB to help prepare for her degree and enhance her skills from then on in:
“I’m currently studying in my 3rd year on the BA(HONS) Interior Architecture and Design course at AUB. Recognised by the SBID and the ECIA as being one of the leading courses in the UK and Europe, this fantastic degree course has taught me a very valuable skillset over the last 2 years, yet I’m always enrolled on additional short courses to expand my knowledge and skill-set further.
I have AUB short courses to thank for my current career path – enrolling on my degree came about after completing the 1 year Interior Design course with Linda Bell Simmonds in 2012. I’ve never looked back, the only regret I have is not doing this sooner.
AUB short courses are high quality, taught by industry professionals who have a real passion for the subjects. I have completed a number of short courses at AUB and I’m currently enrolled on Architectural Modelmaking. Modelmaking has never been something I am good at, and it’s the area I struggle with most in my studies. I’m hoping this course will help me to work more efficiently which will lead to better quality models and a stress free 3rd year.”
